Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners–of whom I am the worst ~1Tim 1:15

Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul ~1Peter 2:11

He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.  This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time ~2 Tim 1:9 

I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven ~Jesus (Matt 18:3)

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go ~Joshua 1:9

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him ~1 John 4:9

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I'll come in and eat with him, and he with me ~Jesus (Rev 3:20)

To him who overcomes, I'll give the right to sit with me on my throne just as I overcame and sat with my Father on his throne ~Jesus (Rev 3:21)

Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us ~Eph 5:1

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you ~Eph 4:32 

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline ~2 Tim 1:7
