Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;” ~John 11:25

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” ~John 8:12

Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.” ~John 10:7, 9-10

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty." ~John 6:35

But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship ~Galatians 4:4-5

Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and redeemed them. He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David (as he said through his holy prophets of long ago) ~Luke 1:68-70

Simeon praised God “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: a light for revelation to the Gentiles, & the glory of your people Israel" ~Luke 2:28-32

When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh ~Matthew 2:10‭-‬11

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace ~Isaiah 9:6

The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! ~Luke 2:11
