For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast ~Eph 2:8-9

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart ~Hebrews 4:12

Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow ~Isaiah 1:16-17

You do not want a burnt offering. The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God ~Psalm 51:16-17

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ ~Gal 6:2

I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart ~Psalm 40:8

God, who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also graciously give us all things? ~Romans 8:32

“Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” ~Psalm 27:14

My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare ~Psalm 25:15

How great you are, Sovereign LORD! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears ~2 Samuel 7:22 

When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage. In this respect they will be like the angels in heaven ~Mark 12:25

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" ~Jer 29:11

Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him ~Psalm 62:1

Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance ~Titus 2:2

It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands & obey him; serve him & hold fast to him ~Deut 13:4

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails ~Prov 19:21

All praise to God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus from the dead ~1 Peter 1:3

Dear friends, lets purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God ~2 Cor 7:1

You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry land where there is no water ~King David—Psalm 63:1

I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws ~Psalm 119:30

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe ~Prov 29:25

No person knows when [my return] will be. The Son and the angels in heaven don't know when it will be. Only the Father knows ~Jesus (Mark 13:32)

I pray that your love may grow more and more in knowledge and understanding, so you may live pure and blameless lives until Christ's return ~Phil 1:9-10

I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I'll call on him as long as I live ~Psalm 116:1-2

Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble ~1 Peter 3:8
