The star they had seen in the east guided them to Bethlehem. It went ahead of them & stopped over the place where the child was ~Matt 2:9-10

Some wise men arrived: “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him" ~Matt 2:1-2

Mary gave birth to her first child, a son. She wrapped him in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger; no lodging was available ~Luke 2:7

He will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of David. His Kingdom will never end! ~Luke 1:32-33

Don’t be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God! You will give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus ~Gabriel (Luke 1:30-31)

And you, O Bethlehem, are not least of the cities of Judah, for a ruler will come from you who will shepherd my people Israel ~Matt 2:6

All returned to their ancestral towns for this census. Because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem ~Luke 2:3-4

The baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God... The word of God will never fail ~Luke 1:35, 37

You will tell his people how to find salvation through forgiveness of their sins... To give light to those who sit in darkness ~Luke 1:77, 79

And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins ~Angel of the Lord (Matt 1:21)

Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means "God is with us" ~Matt 1:23

King Herod called a meeting of the leading priests and asked, “Where is the Messiah to be born?” “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they said ~Matt 2:4

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel ~Isaiah 7:14

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing ~Jesus (John 15:5)

I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die ~Jesus (John 11:25)

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me ~Jesus (John 14:6)

Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved ~Jesus (Jn 10:7,9)

I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me... and I lay down my life for the sheep ~Jesus (John 10:14-15)

I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty ~Jesus (John 6:35)

I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life ~Jesus (Jn 8:12)

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful ~Col 3:15

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever ~Psalm 136:1,26

My people have abandoned me—the fountain of living water. They've dug for themselves cracked cisterns that can hold no water at all ~Jer 2:13

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son ~Heb 1:1-2

Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again—my Savior and my God! ~Psalm 42:11

Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done ~1 Chron 16:8
