What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? ~Mark 8:36 

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing ~1 Thes 5:11

I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak ~Jesus (Matt 12:36-37)

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech ~Psalm 19:1-2

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ ~John 1:17

The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him ~Prov 23:24

As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him ~Psalm 103:13

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ ~Phili 3:20

A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night ~Psalm 90:4

The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights ~Hab 3:19

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you ~Col 3:13

Not a single person on earth is always good and never sins ~King Solomon (Eccl 7:20)

Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God ~Psalm 90:2

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints ~Psalm 116:15

So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband ~Eph 5:33

Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours ~1 Chron 29:11

For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again ~Prov 24:16

But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children—with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts ~Psalm 103:17-18

Would Jesus ever divorce his people?  No.  And likewise...

A man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. ~Ephesians 5:31-32

"Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery” ~Jesus (Matt 19:8-9)

When the going gets tough, as is expected from two sinners, don't bail.

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! ~Rom 11:33

As you don't know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother's womb, so you can't know the work of God, Maker of all things ~Eccl 11:5
