There are six things the Lord hates— no, seven things he detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family ~Proverbs 6:16‭-‬19

The LORD directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way? ~Proverbs 20:24

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago ~Ephesians 2:10

The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed ~Proverbs 11:25

Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall ~Psalm 55:22

You forgave the guilt of your people— yes, you covered all their sins ~Psalms 85:2

Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land ~2 Chronicles 7:14

Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning ~2 John 1:6

He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name ~Psalm 23:3

For we live by believing and not by seeing ~2 Corinthians 5:7

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD ~Psalm 27:14

The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit ~1 Corinthians 2:14

Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble ~Proverbs 13:20

The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? ~Jeremiah 17:9

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them ~1 John 4:16

Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love ~1 John 4:18

A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power ~Ephesians 6:10

But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress ~Psalms 59:16

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord ~Romans 6:23

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe ~Proverbs 29:25

Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal ~Isaiah 26:4

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin ~Psalms 51:1‭-‬2

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ ~Philippians 1:9-10

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved ~Romans 10:9

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One ~1 John 2:1

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope ~Romans 5:3-4
