If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness ~1 John 1:9

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive ~1 Corinthians 15:20-22

But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name! ~1 Peter 4:16

Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.” ~Luke 9:23-24

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law ~Romans 13:8

All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all ~Isaiah 53:6

"He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”” ~1 Peter 2:24

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit ~1 Peter 3:18

He told them, “My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.” ~Matthew 26:38

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed ~Psalm 34:18

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good ~1 Peter 2:2-3

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow ~James 1:17

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good ~Psalm 14:1

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” ~Isaiah 55:8-9

My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge ~Psalm 62:7

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect ~1 Peter 3:15

Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did ~1 John 2:6

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God ~2 Corinthians 5:21

He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time ~2 Timothy 1:9
