The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me ~Gal 2:20

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word ~Heb 1:3a

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us ~Rom 5:8

It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’”” ~Rom 14:11

I don't try to please myself. But I want to please the One who sent me ~Jesus (John 5:30b)

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law ~Rom 13:8

Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.  But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us ~Rom 5:7-8

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly ~Rom 5:6

I have a proof about myself.. The things I do are my proof.. These things show that the Father sent me ~Jesus (John 5:35-36)

"He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness.  “By his wounds you have been healed.” ~1 Peter 2:24

If a person does not respect the Son, then that person does not respect the Father. The Father is the One who sent the Son ~John 5:23

The Father has given the Son power to do all the judging. God did this so people will respect the Son the same as the Father ~John 5:22

The Father raises dead people and gives them life. In the same way, the Son gives life to the people he wants to ~John 5:21

The Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does ~Jesus (Jn 5:19)

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for others ~1 John 3:16

In Jesus we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace ~Eph 1:7

Letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace ~Rom 8:6

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good ~Psalm 14:1

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for ~Heb 11:1

Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won't become weary and give up ~Heb 12:3
