“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me” ~Jesus (John 14:1)

Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds. Exult in his holy name; rejoice, you who worship the Lord . Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him ~Psalms 105:2‭-‬4

Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and redeemed them. He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David (as he said through his holy prophets of long ago) ~Luke 1:68-70

So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son ~John 1:14

But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship ~Galatians 4:4-5

Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him.” ~Matthew 2:1‭-‬2

An angel said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins”” ~Matthew 1:20-21

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. He will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness & justice ~Isaiah 9:6‭-‬7

The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! ~Luke 2:11

While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them ~Luke 2:6-7

"You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.” Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—the armies of heaven—praising God and saying, “Glory to God in highest heaven, & peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased”~Luke 2:12‭-‬14

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel ~Isaiah 7:14

His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen! ~Isaiah 9:7

And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God ~Luke 1:76-78

The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” ~Exodus 14:14

For the word of God will never fail ~Luke 1:37

If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see? ~1 John 4:20

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever ~Psalm 136:1,26

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” ~John 8:12

Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do ~Ephesians 1:4‭-‬5

Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all! ~Romans 12:16

God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but now in these last days he has been revealed for your sake ~1 Peter 1:20

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life ~John 8:12

The day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, & the earth & everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, you ought to live holy & godly lives ~2 Peter 3:10-11

So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son ~John 1:14

The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him ~Nahum 1:7

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe ~Hebrews 1:1-2

Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done ~1 Chronicles 16:8

Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song ~Psalm 95:1-2

Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body ~1 Corinthians 6:19‭-‬20

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe ~Hebrews 12:28

I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart ~Psalm 40:8

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him ~1 John 3:1

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him ~Colossians 3:17

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations ~Psalm 100:4-5

I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge ~1 Corinthians 1:4-5

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful ~Colossians 3:15

Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer ~Psalms 63:3‭-‬4

But you, O Lord , are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high ~Psalms 3:3

Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands give me delight ~Psalm 119:143

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit ~1 Peter 3:18

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship ~Romans 12:1

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast ~Ephesians 2:8-9

For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves ~1 Peter 2:15-16

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives ~Colossians 1:9

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will ~Romans 12:2

so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him ~Hebrews 9:28

Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble ~Proverbs 13:20

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness ~1 Timothy 2:1-2

He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life ~2 Corinthians 3:6

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people ~Ephesians 1:18

Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God! ~Psalm 42:11

How great you are, Sovereign LORD! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears ~2 Samuel 7:22

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings ~1 Peter 5:8-9

All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever ~1 Peter 1:24

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work ~2 Timothy 3:16-17

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ ~Galatians 6:2

Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins ~1 Peter 4:8

speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ ~Ephesians 5:19-20

And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment ~John 3:36

“I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life” ~Psalm 119:93

I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you ~Psalms 119:11

There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother ~Proverbs 18:24

But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love ~Jude 1:20‭-‬21

But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress ~Psalms 59:16

And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away ~James 1:13‭-‬14

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring ~Proverbs 27:1

Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him ~Psalm 62:1

Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. They are a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck ~Proverbs 1:8-9

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end ~Ecclesiastes 3:11

“I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior. I have revealed and saved and proclaimed— I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “that I am God.” ~Isaiah 43:11-12

But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin ~1 John 1:7

For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do ~Hebrews 6:10

If you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home among the wise ~Proverbs 15:31

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too ~Philippians 2:3‭-‬4

Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up ~Proverbs 12:25

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead ~1 Peter 1:3

The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit ~1 Corinthians 2:14

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe ~Proverbs 29:25

The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth ~Psalms 145:18

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ ~Philippians 1:9-10

When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer ~Psalms 94:19

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation ~1 Peter 1:3

But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light ~1 Peter 2:9

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you ~Isaiah 46:4

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all ~2 Corinthians 13:14

Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith ~Galatians 6:10

Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble ~1 Peter 3:8

Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent" ~John 6:29

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen ~Ephesians 4:29

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others ~Philippians 2:3-4

My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever ~Psalms 73:26

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom ~James 3:13

God’s way is perfect. All the Lord ’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection ~Psalms 18:30

Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart’ ~Jesus (John 7:38)

A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power ~Ephesians 6:10

Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him ~1 Chronicles 16:11

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth ~Psalm 121:1-2

May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ ~2 Thessalonians 3:5

So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever ~2 Corinthians 4:18

Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! ~Psalms 34:8

Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life ~1 John 5:12

Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying ~Romans 12:12

The earth is filled with your love, LORD; teach me your decrees ~Psalm 119:64

The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving ~Psalms 28:7

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path ~Psalms 119:105

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice ~Psalm 95:6-7

People who accept discipline are on the pathway to life, but those who ignore correction will go astray ~Proverbs 10:17

So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! ~Hebrews 10:35

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you ~Isaiah 26:3

By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me—a prayer to the God of my life ~Psalm 42:8

When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy ~Psalm 94:18-19

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me ~Revelation 3:20

What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” ~Mark 8:36

But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart" ~1 Samuel 16:7

The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences ~Proverbs 18:21

I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken ~Psalm 16:8

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline ~2 Timothy 1:7

God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners ~Romans 5:8

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life ~Proverbs 4:23

So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ ~Romans 10:17

For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory ~Psalm 149:4

The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple ~Psalm 119:130

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble ~Psalm 46:1

God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) ~Ephesians 2:4-5

Give your burdens to the Lord , and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall ~Psalms 55:22

All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal ~Psalm 119:160

You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever ~Psalm 16:11

Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! ~Philippians 4:4

Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you ~Ephesians 4:32

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ ~2 Corinthians 5:21

But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one ~2 Thess 3:3

I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord , who made heaven and earth! ~Psalms 121:1‭-‬2

Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice ~Psalm 112:5

Kind words are like honey—sweet to the soul and healthy for the body ~Proverbs 16:24

The Lord says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you" ~Psalms 32:8

Jesus replied, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind" ~Matthew 22:37

Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you ~James 1:21

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin ~1 John 1:7

The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil ~1 Peter 3:12

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” ~Matthew 4:4

The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights ~Hab 3:19

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority ~Colossians 2:9-10

Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night ~Psalms 1:1‭-‬2

So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor ~1 Peter 5:6

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do ~Joshua 1:8

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning ~Lamentations 3:22‭-‬23

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ ~Colossians 3:23‭-‬24

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me... No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one ~Jesus (John 10:27-30)

Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it" ~Jesus (Luke 9:23-24)

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus ~Philippians 1:6

Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us ~1 John 4:11‭-‬12

Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God ~Ephesians 5:1‭-‬2

In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation ~1 Peter 5:10

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow ~James 1:17

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith ~1 Peter 5:8‭

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus ~Philippians 4:7

Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people ~Proverbs 14:34

I love you, Lord; you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety ~Psalm 18:1-2

I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid ~Jesus (John 14:27)

So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves ~Galatians 5:16

Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD ~Leviticus 19:18

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! ~Romans 11:33

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one ~2 Thessalonians 3:3

Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him—his name is the LORD. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling ~Psalm 68:4-5

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work ~2 Timothy 3:16‭-‬17

Father to the fatherless, defender of widows— this is God, whose dwelling is holy ~Psalms 68:5

Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night ~Psalm 90:2,4

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation ~Romans 5:3‭-‬4

Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others ~Colossians 3:13

The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him ~Proverbs 23:24

But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness ~1 John 1:9

Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord ~Heb 12:14

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge ~Psalm 19:1-2

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you ~Isaiah 43:2

Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night ~Psalm 90:2,4

Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them ~Ephesians 4:29

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need ~Matthew 6:33

Who can say, “I have cleansed my heart; I am pure and free from sin”? ~Proverbs 20:9

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” ~1 Samuel 16:7

The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm ~Exodus 14:14

My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me ~Galatians 2:20

We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne ~Hebrews 12:2

Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves ~Romans 12:10

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them ~Hebrews 6:10

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done ~Philippians 4:6

We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps ~Proverbs 16:9

For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God ~Titus 2:11‭-‬12

Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor ~Proverbs 21:21

God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied ~Matt 5:6

That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day ~2 Corinthians 4:16

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ ~Romans 15:5-6

There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son ~John 3:18

Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land ~2 Chronicles 7:14

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised ~Proverbs 31:30

May the Lord richly bless both you and your children ~Psalms 115:14

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him ~Philippians 2:13

Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity ~1 Timothy 4:12

“I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life." ~Jesus (John 5:24)

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest" ~Matthew 11:28

So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you ~Deuteronomy 31:6

Remember your promise to me; it is my only hope. Your promise revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles ~Psalms 119:49-50

So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls ~James 1:21

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven ~Hebrews 1:3

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results ~James 5:16

For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus ~2Timothy 1:9

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take ~Proverbs 3:5‭-‬6

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved ~Romans 10:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness ~1 John 1:9

fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God ~Hebrews 12:2

He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign Lord will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people. The Lord has spoken! ~Isaiah 25:8

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many ~Matthew 20:28

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God ~2 Corinthians 5:21

The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you ~Romans 8:11

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time ~1 Timothy 2:5-6

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him ~James 1:12

The news that Jesus was on the way to Jerusalem swept through the city. A large crowd of visitors took palm branches & went down the road to meet him. They shouted, “Praise God! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hail to the King of Israel!” ~John 12:12‭-‬13

All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants ~John 3:20‭-‬21

Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments ~Deuteronomy 7:9

Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment ~Proverbs 4:7

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit ~Romans 15:13

Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them ~John 14:21

But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved ~Acts 2:21

You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food ~Hebrews 5:12

Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts ~Colossians 3:16

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose ~Romans 8:28

Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness ~Colossians 2:7

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline ~2 Timothy 1:7

Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies ~Psalm 103:1-4

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline ~2Tim 1:7

LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago ~Isaiah 25:1

Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever ~Psalm 73:25-26

Have not I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go ~Joshua 1:9

These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up ~Deuteronomy 6:6-7

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life ~John 3:16

For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love ~Galatians 5:13

Do not those who plot evil go astray? But those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness ~Proverbs 14:22

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth ~1 John 3:18

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” ~Matthew 22:37-39

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us ~1 John 4:11-12

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins ~1 John 4:10

They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth ~Philippians 3:19

But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior ~Philippians 3:20

He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him ~Proverbs 2:8

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns ~Philippians 1:6

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing ~Psalms 143:10

I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life ~John 5:24

Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow ~Isaiah 1:16-17

Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love ~1 Corinthians 13:13

I am counting on the Lord ; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word ~Psalms 130:5

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres ~1 Corinthians 13: 6-7

Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” ~Matthew 19:26

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth ~Colossians 1:15-16

Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked ~Psalm 97:10

Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor ~Proverbs 21:21

This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it ~Psalms 118:24

Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? ~Romans 8:35

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love ~Ephesians 4:2

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God ~John 1:12

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure ~1 Corinthians 10:13

The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent ~2 Peter 3:9

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things ~Philippians 4:8

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up ~James 4:10

Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence ~Jeremiah 17:7

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ ~2 Corinthians 5:21

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life ~Galatians 6:7-8

The godly walk with integrity; blessed are their children who follow them ~Proverbs 20:7

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you ~James 1:5

If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal ~1 Corinthians 13:1

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life ~Philippians 2:14-16

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus ~Gal 3:26-28

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it ~1 Corinthians 10:13

People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart ~Proverbs 21:2

Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has command us: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother & sister ~1 John 4:20-21

The name of the Lord is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe ~Proverbs 18:10

You are my refuge and my shield; your word is my source of hope ~Psalms 119:114

For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile ~Romans 1:16

Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ ~2 Cor 5:14‭-‬15

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom ~Psalm 90:12

Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God ~Ephesians 5:1-2

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God ~Micah 6:8

Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits ~Psalm 103:1-2

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age ~Titus 2:11-12

Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you" ~Hebrews 13:5

Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? ~Jesus (John 14:1-2)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! ~2 Corinthians 5:17

This is what the LORD says, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” ~Isaiah 43:16, 18-19
