The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it ~John 1:4‭-‬5

Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me ~Jesus (John 14:1)

For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God ~Titus 2:11‭-‬12

So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son ~John 1:14

But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship ~Galatians 4:4-5

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace ~Isaiah 9:6

And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name.” ~Luke 1:46-47, 49

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace ~Isaiah 9:6

The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! ~Luke 2:11

An angel of the Lord said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, & you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins"~Matt 1:20-21

But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High" ~Luke 1:30-31

The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end ~Luke 1:32-33

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel ~Isaiah 7:14

“Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal" ~Jesus (Matthew 6:19)

And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him ~2 Corinthians 5:18

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow ~James 1:2‭-‬3

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness ~Colossians 2:6-7

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” ~John 8:12

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” ~John 14:6

God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God ~Matthew 5:8

Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked ~Luke 6:35

Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith. ~Galatians 6:10

"I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.” ~Jesus (John 10:14-15)

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” ~John 6:35

Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble ~Proverbs 13:20

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe ~Hebrews 1:1-2

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts ~Colossians 3:16

Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good ~Romans 12:21

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path ~Psalm 119:105

Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song ~Psalm 95:1-2

Give thanks to the Lord , for he is good! His faithful love endures forever ~1 Chronicles 16:34

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe ~Hebrews 12:28

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful ~Colossians 3:15

Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit ~3 John 1:2

All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God ~1 John 4:15

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night ~Psalm 1:1-2

Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant ~Galatians 1:10

Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see ~Hebrews 11:1

God blesses those who are merciful, for they will be shown mercy ~Matthew 5:7

The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him ~Nahum 1:7

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit ~1 Peter 3:18

For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves ~1 Peter 2:15-16

Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come ~Jeremiah 33:3

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness ~1 Timothy 2:1-2

He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless ~Isaiah 40:29

Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up ~Proverbs 12:25

“Look at my Servant, whom I have chosen. He is my Beloved, who pleases me. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations." ~Matthew 12:18

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise ~Hebrews 10:23

But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name! ~1 Peter 4:16

Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him ~1 Chronicles 16:11

And yet, O Lord , you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand ~Isaiah 64:8

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people ~Ephesians 1:18

This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” ~Romans 1:17

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship ~Romans 12:1

May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus ~Romans 15:5

“Look, I am sending you out as sheep among wolves. So be as shrewd as snakes and harmless as doves" ~Jesus (Matthew 10:16)

Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love ~1 Corinthians 16:13‭-‬14

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe ~Proverbs 29:25

speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ ~Ephesians 5:19-20

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise ~Philippians 4:8

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ ~Galatians 6:2

Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace ~Romans 6:14

I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart ~Psalm 40:8

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth ~Psalm 121:1-2

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them ~1 John 4:16

So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy ~1 Peter 1:14‭-‬15

That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty ~Ecclesiastes 12:13

You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had ~Philippians 2:5

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ~Jeremiah 29:11

Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience ~Colossians 3:12

Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him ~Psalm 62:1

Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away ~Acts 3:19

Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it ~James 4:17

For as the waters fill the sea, the earth will be filled with an awareness of the glory of the Lord ~Hab 2:14

If you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home among the wise ~Proverbs 15:31

Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal ~Isaiah 26:4

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead ~1 Peter 1:3

So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace ~Romans 8:6

By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence ~2 Peter 1:3

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope ~Romans 5:3-4

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others ~Philippians 2:3-4

But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love ~Jude 1:20‭-‬21

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation ~1 Peter 1:3

A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit.. Every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions ~Matt 7:17‭-‬20

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen ~Ephesians 4:29

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised ~Hebrews 10:35-36

May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ ~2 Thessalonians 3:5

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God ~Romans 15:7

And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment ~John 3:36

For you are free, yet you are God’s slaves, so don’t use your freedom as an excuse to do evil ~1 Peter 2:16

Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut ~Proverbs 10:19

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom ~James 3:13

The name of the Lord is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe ~Proverbs 18:10

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit ~Romans 15:13

But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress ~Psalms 59:16

You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it ~Matthew 7:13‭-‬14

But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you ~Psalms 56:3

What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us ~2 Timothy 1:13-14

O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if you save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for you alone! ~Jeremiah 17:14

Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’ ~Jesus (John 7:38)

This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.” ~Isaiah 48:17

The earth is filled with your love, LORD; teach me your decrees ~Psalm 119:64

Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions ~Proverbs 18:2

So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever ~2 Corinthians 4:18

This I declare about the Lord : He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him ~Psalms 91:2

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever ~Hebrews 13:8

Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life ~1 John 5:12

Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” ~John 6:29

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams ~Psalms 23:1‭-‬2

I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I want you to know me more than I want burnt offerings ~Hosea 6:6

For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us ~Isaiah 33:22

Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever ~Daniel 12:3

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength ~Proverbs 17:22

You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word ~Psalm 119:114

These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me ~Revelation 3:14,20

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies ~1 Corinthians 6:19-20

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do ~Ephesians 2:10

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit ~Matthew 28:19

The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple ~Psalm 119:130

This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it—the LORD is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ ~Jeremiah 33:2-3

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says ~James 1:22

Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you ~Philippians 4:9

You can make many plans, but the Lord ’s purpose will prevail ~Proverbs 19:21

Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice ~Psalm 112:5

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God ~John 1:12-13

The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name ~Zechariah 14:9

Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you ~James 1:21

Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord ~Hebrews 12:14

Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you ~Jeremiah 32:17

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus ~Philippians 1:6

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life ~Proverbs 4:23

I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your unfailing love and your faithfulness, for you have so exalted your solemn decree that it surpasses your fame ~Psalm 138:2

The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? “I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.” ~Jeremiah 17:9-10

And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry ~Ephesians 4:26

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words ~Romans 8:26

As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him ~Psalm 18:30

Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me ~Psalms 51:10

Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord ~Ephesians 6:4

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance ~Psalm 33:12

Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people ~Proverbs 14:34

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you ~Romans 12:3

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need ~Matthew 6:33

Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others ~Colossians 3:13

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! ~Luke 11:13

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth ~Acts 1:8

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes ~Ephesians 6:10-11

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ ~Philippians 3:20

What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? ~Mark 8:36

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do ~Joshua 1:8

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” ~Psalm 46:10

For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom ~2 Corinthians 3:17

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you ~Colossians 3:13

For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” ~Romans 10:13

For I command you this day to love the Lord your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy ~Deuteronomy 30:16

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge ~Psalm 19:1-2

God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God ~Matthew 5:9

Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night ~Psalm 90:2,4

Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all ~1 Chronicles 29:11

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God ~1 Corinthians 1:18

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing ~1 Thessalonians 5:11

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him ~Philippians 2:13

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger ~Proverbs 15:1

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect ~1 Peter 1:18-19

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light ~1 Peter 2:9

“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing." ~Jesus (John 15:5)

““For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” ~Isaiah 55:8-9

Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up ~Romans 15:2

Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves ~Romans 12:10

But then I recall all you have done, O Lord ; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago. They are constantly in my thoughts. I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works ~Psalms 77:11‭-‬12

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love ~Galatians 5:13

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! ~Romans 11:33

The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing ~Zephaniah 3:17

Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it ~Proverbs 22:6

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness ~James 3:17-18

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep" ~Jesus (John 10:11)

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death ~Romans 8:1-2

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him ~Hebrews 11:6

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved ~Romans 10:9

Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy ~Psalms 126:5

Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God ~Philippians 1:3

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her ~Proverbs 31:10, 27-28

For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard ~Romans 3:23

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective ~James 5:16

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer ~Romans 12:12

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart ~Colossians 4:2

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus ~Philippians 4:6-7

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them ~Hebrews 7:25

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse ~Romans 1:20

"I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” ~Jesus (John 16:33)

So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other ~John 13:34

And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father ~Colossians 3:17

Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise! ~Psalms 47:1

"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ ~1 Corinthians 15:55-57

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters ~1 John 3:16

His righteous acts will be told to those not yet born. They will hear about everything he has done ~Psalms 22:31

“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” ~Jesus (John 10:28-30)

"Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?” ~Jesus (John 11:26)

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved ~Romans 10:9-10

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive ~1 Corinthians 15:20-22

“Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the Lord ! Peace in heaven, and glory in highest heaven!” ~Luke 19:38

When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit ~John 19:30

He humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross ~Philippians 2:8

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures ~1 Corinthians 15:3-4

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law ~Romans 13:8

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! ~Luke 11:13

A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare ~Proverbs 15:1

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven ~Hebrews 1:3

This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing ~Romans 13:6

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin ~Psalms 51:1‭-‬2

For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him ~Philippians 1:29

The LORD will vindicate me; your love, LORD, endures forever— do not abandon the works of your hands ~Psalm 138:8

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest" ~Jesus (Matthew 11:28)

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life ~John 3:16

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord ~Romans 6:23

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness ~1 John 1:9

“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.” ~Deuteronomy 7:9

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit ~Romans 15:13

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light ~1 Peter 2:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness ~1 John 1:9

And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart ~Ezekiel 36:26

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes ~Ephesians 6:10-11

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good ~1 Peter 2:2-3

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law ~Galatians 5:22-23

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself" ~Matthew 22:37-39

People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart ~Proverbs 21:2

And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God ~Hebrews 13:16

When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer ~Psalms 94:19

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold ~Psalm 18:2

LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago ~Isaiah 25:1

God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him ~James 1:12

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love ~1 John 4:18

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect ~1 Peter 3:15

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting ~Psalm 139:23-24

Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts ~Psalms 119:2

“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends" ~Jesus (Revelation 3:20)

That is why the Lord says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning" ~Joel 2:12

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it ~Psalms 139:13‭-‬14

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline ~2 Timothy 1:7

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go ~Joshua 1:9

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth ~1 John 3:18

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life ~John 3:16

So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law ~Galatians 5:1

For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love ~Psalm 33:4-5

Whoever would foster love covers over an offense, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends ~Proverbs 17:9

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us ~1 John 4:11-12

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up ~Galatians 6:9

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well ~Matthew 6:33

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it ~John 1:5

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves ~Philippians 2:3

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away ~Jesus (Matthew 24:35)

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another ~Jesus (John 13:34-35 )

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins ~1 John 4:10

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres ~1 Corinthians 13: 6-7

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs ~1 Corinthians 13:4-5

“You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you.” ~Psalm 86:5

Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked ~Psalm 97:10

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful ~Colossians 3:15

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God ~John 1:12-13

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord ~Romans 6:23

Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor ~Proverbs 21:21

He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God ~2 Corinthians 5:20

But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble ~Psalm 59:16

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love ~Ephesians 4:2

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth... Everything was created through him and for him ~Colossians 1:15-16

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world ~1 John 2:15-16

Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” ~Matthew 19:26

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things ~Philippians 4:8

Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the LORD God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is. Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts ~Amos 5:14

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest ~Matthew 11:28

Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God ~Ephesians 5:1-2

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there ~Galatians 5:24

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking ~James 1:5

Sensible people control their temper; they earn respect by overlooking wrongs ~Proverbs 19:11

Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock ~Jesus (Matthew 7:24)

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance ~James 1:2-3

he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ ~Ephesians 1:9-10

Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God. So let’s stop condemning each other. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not cause another believer to stumble and fall ~Romans 14:12‭-‬13

If you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home among the wise. If you reject discipline, you only harm yourself; but if you listen to correction, you grow in understanding ~Proverbs 15:31‭-‬32

Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing ~Proverbs 12:18

Live happily with the woman you love through all the meaningless days of life that God has given you under the sun. The wife God gives you is your reward for all your earthly toil ~Ecclesiastes 9:9

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” ~Jesus (John 16:33)

Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world ~James 4:8

Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously ~Isaiah 55:7

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning ~Lamentations 3:22‭-‬23

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid." ~Jesus (John 14:27)

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! ~2 Corinthians 5:17

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God ~Micah 6:8

"Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool" ~Isaiah 1:18

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die" ~John 11:25

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” ~John 6:35

I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep ~Jesus (John 10:14-15)

This is what the LORD says— “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” ~Isaiah 43:16, 18-19
