But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord ~Rom 6:23

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit ~Rom 15:13

Blessed is one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They are like a tree planted by water with roots by the stream ~Jer 17:7

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk; from it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good ~1 Peter 2:2-3

Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes ~Eph 6:10-11

The way you give to other people will be the way God gives to you ~Jesus (Matt 7:2)

So don't worry about tomorrow. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Tomorrow will have its own worries ~Jesus (Matt 6:34)

As God’s chosen people, holy & dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness & patience ~Col 3:12

If you don't forgive the wrong things people do to you, your Father in heaven will not forgive the wrong things you do ~Jesus (Matt 6:15)

Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others ~Col 3:13

In your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always have an answer ready to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope you have ~1 Peter 3:15

How you look at people makes you the kind of person you are. If you look at people and want to help them, you will be full of light (goodness) ~Matt 6:22

Earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever ~Psalm 73:25-26

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go ~Joshua 1:9

LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, planned long ago ~Isaiah 25:1

He has saved us and called us to a holy life... This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time ~2 Tim 1:9

"Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest" ~Jesus (Matt 11:28)

Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us. So let us celebrate, not with wickedness and evil, but with sincerity and truth ~1 Cor 5:8

Sorrow and mourning will disappear, and they will be filled with joy and gladness ~Isaiah 35:10b

"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” ~God (Jer 29:13)

"If you love only the people that love you, then you will get no reward. Even the tax collectors do that. And if you are nice only to your friends, then you are no better than other people. Even the people without God are nice to their friends. So you must be perfect, the same as your Father in heaven is perfect" ~Jesus (Matt 5:46-48)

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth ~1 John 3:18

"As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” ~God (Isaiah 55:9)

If a person wants to sue you in court and take your shirt, then let him have your coat too ~Jesus (Matt 5:40)

Those who have been ransomed by the Lord will return. They will enter Jerusalem singing, crowned with everlasting joy ~Isaiah 35:10a

Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires... Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace ~Rom 6:12,14

If a person looks at a woman and wants to sin sexually with her, that person has already had adultery with her in his heart ~Jesus (Matt 5:28)

God’s law was given so people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant ~Rom 5:20
