He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David (as he said through his holy prophets of long ago) ~Luke 1:69

He was named Jesus, the name given him by the angel before he was conceived. He was filled with wisdom; God's favor was on him ~Luke 1:21,40

They bowed down and worshipped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh ~Matt 2:11

Some wise men arrived, asking, "Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose and have come to worship him." ~Matt 2:1-2

After seeing him, the shepherds told everyone what happened & what the angel said about the child. All who heard were astonished ~Luke 2:17

The shepherds said to each other, "Let's go to Bethlehem! Let's see this thing that has happened, which the Lord told us about." ~Luke 2:15

Mary gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth & laid him in a manger; there was no lodging avail ~Luke 2:7

And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger ~Luke 2:12

But you, O Bethlehem, are only a small village. Yet a ruler of Israel, whose origins are in the distant past, will come from you ~Micah 5:2

"Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, & they will call him Immanuel, which means 'God with us.'" ~Matt 1:23

The Roman emperor decreed that a census should be taken. Because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem ~Luke 2:1

"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins" ~Matt 1:21

An angel said, “Joseph, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit"~Matt 1:20

He'll be called the Son of the Most High. God will give him the throne of David. He'll reign forever; his kingdom will never end! ~Luke 1:32

"Don't be afraid Mary" the angel said, "for you have found favor with God! You will give birth to a son, & you will name him Jesus ~Luke 1:30

A virgin named Mary was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David. The angel Gabriel appeared to her ~Luke 1:27

The Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel ~Isaiah 7:14

Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth ~John 17:17

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see ~Hebrews 11:1

All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them ~Jesus (John 14:23)

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die” ~John 11:25

Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people ~Heb 9:28a

Christ will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him ~Heb 9:28b

The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him ~Nahum 1:7

Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal ~Isaiah 26:4

The day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire ~2 Peter 3:10

In the past God spoke thru the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he set as heir of all things ~Heb 1:1-2

Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble ~Proverbs 13:20

Let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness~Col 2:7
