Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth ~1 John 3:18

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” ~Matthew 22:37-39

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us ~1 John 4:11-12

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins ~1 John 4:10

They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth ~Philippians 3:19

But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior ~Philippians 3:20

He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him ~Proverbs 2:8

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns ~Philippians 1:6

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing ~Psalms 143:10

I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life ~John 5:24

Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow ~Isaiah 1:16-17

Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love ~1 Corinthians 13:13

I am counting on the Lord ; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word ~Psalms 130:5

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres ~1 Corinthians 13: 6-7

Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” ~Matthew 19:26

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth ~Colossians 1:15-16

Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked ~Psalm 97:10

Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor ~Proverbs 21:21

This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it ~Psalms 118:24

Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? ~Romans 8:35

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love ~Ephesians 4:2

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God ~John 1:12

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure ~1 Corinthians 10:13

The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent ~2 Peter 3:9
