So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves ~Galatians 5:16

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work ~2 Timothy 3:16‭-‬17

Father to the fatherless, defender of widows— this is God, whose dwelling is holy ~Psalms 68:5

Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night ~Psalm 90:2,4

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation ~Romans 5:3‭-‬4

Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others ~Colossians 3:13

The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him ~Proverbs 23:24

But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness ~1 John 1:9

Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord ~Heb 12:14

The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm ~Exodus 14:14

My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me ~Galatians 2:20

We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne ~Hebrews 12:2
