But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light ~1 Peter 2:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness ~1 John 1:9

And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart ~Ezekiel 36:26

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes ~Ephesians 6:10-11

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good ~1 Peter 2:2-3

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law ~Galatians 5:22-23

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself" ~Matthew 22:37-39

People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart ~Proverbs 21:2

And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God ~Hebrews 13:16

When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer ~Psalms 94:19

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold ~Psalm 18:2

LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago ~Isaiah 25:1

God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him ~James 1:12

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love ~1 John 4:18

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect ~1 Peter 3:15

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting ~Psalm 139:23-24

Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts ~Psalms 119:2

“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends" ~Jesus (Revelation 3:20)

That is why the Lord says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning" ~Joel 2:12

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it ~Psalms 139:13‭-‬14

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline ~2 Timothy 1:7

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go ~Joshua 1:9

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth ~1 John 3:18

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life ~John 3:16

So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law ~Galatians 5:1
