I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world ~Jesus (John 16:33)

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart ~Hebrews 4:12

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” ~John 14:6

Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying: “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: a light for revelation to the Gentiles" ~Luke 2:28-32

They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh ~Matthew 2:11

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests ~Luke 2:13-14

the wise men went their way. And the star they had seen in the east guided them to Bethlehem. It went ahead of them and stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! ~Matthew 2:9-10

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger ~Luke 2:11-12

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace ~Isaiah 9:6

She gave birth to her first child, a son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them ~Luke 2:7

Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him.” ~Matthew 2:1-2

“Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins ~Matthew 1:21

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel ~Isaiah 7:14

For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves ~1 Peter 2:15-16

Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” ~Hebrews 13:5

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts ~Colossians 3:16

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light ~1 Peter 2:9

All nations will come to your light; mighty kings will come to see your radiance ~Isaiah 60:3

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world ~1 John 2:15-16

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe ~Hebrews 1:1-2

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it ~Ephesians 2:8‭-‬9

We love each other because he loved us first ~1 John 4:19

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you ~Isaiah 43:2

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”” ~John 8:12

Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me ~John 15:4

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever ~Psalm 136:1,26

Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done ~1 Chronicles 16:8

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people ~Ephesians 1:18

Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith ~Galatians 6:10

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe ~Hebrews 12:28

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness ~Colossians 2:6-7

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him ~Colossians 3:17

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations ~Psalm 100:4-5

I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge ~1 Corinthians 1:4-5

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever ~Psalms 107:1

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful ~Colossians 3:15

All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God ~1 John 4:15

Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit ~3 John 1:2

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night ~Psalm 1:1-2

So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor ~1 Peter 5:6

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises ~James 5:13

Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands give me delight ~Psalm 119:143

Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see ~Hebrews 11:1

““Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” ~Isaiah 1:18

It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him ~Deuteronomy 13:4

For as the waters fill the sea, the earth will be filled with an awareness of the glory of the Lord ~Habakkuk 2:14

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever ~Hebrews 13:8

For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength ~Philippians 4:13

speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ ~Ephesians 5:19-20

When you pray, don’t babble on and on as the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him! ~Matthew 6:7‭-‬8

Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you ~Ephesians 4:32

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect ~Romans 12:2

You are my refuge and my shield; your word is my source of hope ~Psalms 119:114

The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? ~Psalm 27:1

For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past ~Romans 3:25

There are six things the Lord hates— no, seven things he detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family ~Proverbs 6:16‭-‬19

The LORD directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way? ~Proverbs 20:24

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago ~Ephesians 2:10

The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed ~Proverbs 11:25

Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall ~Psalm 55:22

You forgave the guilt of your people— yes, you covered all their sins ~Psalms 85:2

Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land ~2 Chronicles 7:14

Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning ~2 John 1:6

He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name ~Psalm 23:3

For we live by believing and not by seeing ~2 Corinthians 5:7

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD ~Psalm 27:14

The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit ~1 Corinthians 2:14

Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble ~Proverbs 13:20

The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? ~Jeremiah 17:9

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them ~1 John 4:16

Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love ~1 John 4:18

A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power ~Ephesians 6:10

But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress ~Psalms 59:16

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord ~Romans 6:23

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe ~Proverbs 29:25

Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal ~Isaiah 26:4

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin ~Psalms 51:1‭-‬2

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ ~Philippians 1:9-10

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved ~Romans 10:9

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One ~1 John 2:1

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope ~Romans 5:3-4

Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant ~Galatians 1:10

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised ~Hebrews 10:35-36

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God ~Romans 15:7

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all ~2 Corinthians 13:14

Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children ~Ephesians 5:1

Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth ~2 Timothy 2:15

The LORD is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him ~Lamentations 3:25

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom ~James 3:13

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others ~Philippians 2:3-4

Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever ~Psalms 23:6

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life ~Proverbs 4:23

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you ~Isaiah 46:4

He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds ~Psalms 147:3

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground ~Psalm 143:10

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life ~Proverbs 4:23

He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ ~Colossians 1:28

Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives ~Galatians 5:25

The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm ~Exodus 14:14

This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.” ~Isaiah 48:17

Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.” ~John 14:23

If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom ~James 3:13

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice ~Psalm 95:6-7

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us ~Hebrews 12:1

Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” ~John 6:29

For I have given rest to the weary and joy to the sorrowing ~Jeremiah 31:25

Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink— even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk— it’s all free! Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to me, and you will eat what is good. You will enjoy the finest food ~Isaiah 55:1‭-‬2

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning ~Lamentations 3:22‭-‬23

For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time ~1 Timothy 2:5‭-‬6

Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble ~Psalm 119:165

Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience ~Colossians 3:12

I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken ~Psalm 16:8

By day the LORD directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life ~Psalm 42:8

Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble ~Psalm 119:165

And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else ~James 1:13

The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil ~1 Peter 3:12

But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart ~1 Samuel 16:7

Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you ~Philippians 4:9

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do ~Ephesians 2:10

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful ~Colossians 3:15

Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away ~James 1:14

"For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you ~Isaiah 54:10

Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you ~Jesus (Luke 6:28)

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble ~Psalm 46:1

This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it—the LORD is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know ~Jeremiah 33:2-3

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us ~2 Cor 1:3‭-‬4

I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you ~Psalm 119:11

The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple ~Psalm 119:130

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says ~James 1:22

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit ~Romans 15:13

He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless ~Isaiah 40:29

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God ~John 1:12-13

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms ~Ephesians 6:12

Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good? ~1 Peter 3:13

As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things ~Ecclesiastes 11:5

Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me ~Jesus (John 14:1)

Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit ~3John 1:2

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God ~1 Corinthians 1:18

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise ~Philippians 4:8

Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way ~James 3:2

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results ~James 5:16

Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone ~Colossians 4:6

You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had ~Philippians 2:5

Instead, he gave up his divine privileges ; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross ~Philippians 2:7‭-‬8

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus ~Romans 8:1

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus ~Romans 3:23-24

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised ~Proverbs 31:30

“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.” ~Hebrews 1:3

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them ~Hebrews 7:25

so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him ~Hebrews 9:28

No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way ~Hebrews 12:11

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance ~2 Peter 3:9

Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves ~Romans 12:10

For I command you this day to love the Lord your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy ~Deuteronomy 30:16

Give your burdens to the Lord , and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall ~Psalms 55:22

For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved ~Romans 10:10

Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord ~Hebrews 12:14

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you ~Romans 12:3

That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day ~2 Corinthians 4:16

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ ~Philippians 3:20

Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD ~Leviticus 19:18

And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment ~John 3:36

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one ~2 Thessalonians 3:3

Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them ~John 14:21

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger ~Proverbs 15:1

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! ~2 Corinthians 5:17

Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him—his name is the LORD. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling ~Psalm 68:4-5

But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts ~Psalm 103:17-18

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing ~1 Thessalonians 5:11

Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night ~Psalm 90:2,4

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart ~Colossians 4:2

Wait patiently for the Lord . Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord ~Psalms 27:14

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it ~Ephesians 2:8-9

But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness ~1 John 1:9

Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins ~1 Peter 4:8

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ ~Colossians 3:23‭-‬24

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me ~Psalms 23:4

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart 🖤 ~Psalm 27:14

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him ~John 3:17

And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry ~Ephesians 4:26

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind ~Numbers 23:19

For I hold you by your right hand— I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you' ~Isaiah 41:13

They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away ~Revelation 21: 2-4

No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God ~Micah 6:8

Sing to the Lord with grateful praise; make music to our God on the harp. He covers the sky with clouds; he supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills ~Psalm 147:7-8

There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son ~John 3:18

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry ~James 1:19

“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends." ~Jesus (Revelation 3:20)

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed ~Psalms 34:18

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them ~Hebrews 6:10

I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return ~Philippians 1:9‭-‬10

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law ~Romans 13:8

All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all ~Isaiah 53:6

This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor ~Romans 13:6-7

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life ~John 3:16

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness ~1 John 1:9

Seek the Lord, all who are humble, and follow his commands. Seek to do what is right and to live humbly. Perhaps even yet the Lord will protect you— protect you from his anger on that day of destruction ~Zephaniah 2:3

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes ~Ephesians 6:10-11

When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer ~Psalms 94:19

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law ~Galatians 5:22-23

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him ~James 1:12

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit ~Romans 15:13

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God ~1 John 4:7

Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy ~Psalms 100:2

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres ~1 Corinthians 13: 6-7

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord , will keep me safe ~Psalms 4:8

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline ~2 Timothy 1:7

Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom ~Psalms 90:12

The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and any other commands, are summed up as: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Love is the fulfillment of the law ~Rom 13:9-10

He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more ~John 15:2

Do not those who plot evil go astray? But those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness ~Proverbs 14:22

Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth ~Colossians 3:2

Whoever would foster love covers over an offense, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends ~Proverbs 17:9

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us ~1 John 4:11-12

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life ~John 3:16

Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the LORD God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is. Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the LORD God Almighty will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph ~Amos 5:14-15

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up ~Galatians 6:9

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves ~Philippians 2:3

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets ~Matthew 7:12

Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets ~Matthew 7:12

Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds ~Psalms 105:1‭-‬2

Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked ~Psalm 97:10

People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart ~Proverbs 21:2

For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love ~Psalm 33:4-5

Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor ~Proverbs 21:21

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you ~1 Peter 5:7

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it ~Ephesians 2:8‭-‬9

So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you ~James 4:7

If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities ~Luke 16:10

You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you ~Psalm 86:5

But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like ~James 1:22‭-‬24

Instead, I want to see a mighty flood of justice, an endless river of righteous living ~Amos 5:24

For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death ~2 Corinthians 7:10

Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” ~John 8:32

But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ ~1 Corinthians 15:57

So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh ~Galatians 5:16

Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop ~2 Corinthians 9:6

My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever ~Psalms 73:26

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done ~Philippians 4:6

Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God ~Ephesians 5:1-2

Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits ~Psalm 103:1-2

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age ~Titus 2:11-12

In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father ~Matthew 5:16

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end ~Ecclesiastes 3:11

The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent ~2 Peter 3:9

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world" ~Jesus (John 16:33)

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom ~Psalm 90:1

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! ~2 Corinthians 5:17

For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland ~Isaiah 43:19
