Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;” ~John 11:25

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” ~John 8:12

Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.” ~John 10:7, 9-10

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty." ~John 6:35

But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship ~Galatians 4:4-5

Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and redeemed them. He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David (as he said through his holy prophets of long ago) ~Luke 1:68-70

Simeon praised God “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: a light for revelation to the Gentiles, & the glory of your people Israel" ~Luke 2:28-32

When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh ~Matthew 2:10‭-‬11

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace ~Isaiah 9:6

The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! ~Luke 2:11

So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them ~Luke 2:16-20

“While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.” ~Luke 2:6-7

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.” -Luke 2:8-11

And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins ~Matthew 1:21

But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High.. his kingdom will never end.” ~Luke 1:30-33

“[The Birth of Jesus] In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world.” ~Luke 2:1, 4-5

Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise! ~Psalms 47:1

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel ~Isaiah 7:14

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it ~John 1:5

In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe ~Hebrews 1:1-2

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” ~Jesus (John 15:5,8)

Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see ~Hebrews 11:1

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done ~Philippians 4:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” ~John 14:6

You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected ~Luke 12:40

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night ~Psalm 1:1-2

In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father ~Matthew 5:16

I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep ~Jesus (John 10:14-15)

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever ~Psalm 136:1,26

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you ~1 Peter 5:7

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe ~Hebrews 12:28

The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine ~Isaiah 9:2

Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop ~2 Corinthians 9:6

But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve ~Jeremiah 17:10

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts ~Colossians 3:16

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace ~Numbers 6:24‭-‬26

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe ~Hebrews 12:28

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever ~1 Chronicles 16:34

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him ~Colossians 3:17

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations ~Psalm 100:4-5

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness ~Colossians 2:6-7

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful ~Colossians 3:15

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God ~1 John 4:7

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls." ~Matthew 11:28‭-‬29

Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts ~Psalms 119:2

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness ~1 Timothy 2:1-2

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path ~Psalm 119:105

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives ~Colossians 1:9

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me ~Psalm 23:4

Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool ~Isaiah 1:18

All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word that was preached to you ~1 Peter 1:24-25

He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life ~2 Corinthians 3:6

If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom ~James 3:13

The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple ~Psalms 19:7

Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God! ~Psalms 42:11

speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ ~Ephesians 5:19-20

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.” ~1 Peter 5:8-9

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart ~Hebrews 4:12

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people ~Ephesians 1:18

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near ~Isaiah 55:6

Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me ~Psalm 51:12

Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?” ~John 11:25‭-‬26

I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart ~Psalm 40:8

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD ~Psalm 27:14

And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand ~Isaiah 64:8

Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him ~Psalm 62:1

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will ~Romans 12:2

All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God ~1 John 4:15

Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise. Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails ~Proverbs 19:20-21

A psalm of David. When he was in the Desert of Judah. You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water ~Psalm 63:1

My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! ~Psalms 121:2

When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer ~Psalms 94:19

Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before ~1 Thessalonians 4:11

"I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior. I have revealed and saved and proclaimed— I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “that I am God.” ~Isaiah 43:11-12

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen ~Ephesians 4:29

Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal ~Isaiah 26:4

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ ~Philippians 1:9-10

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised ~Hebrews 10:35-36

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see ~Hebrews 11:1

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved ~Romans 10:9

Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God ~John 3:20-21

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well ~Matthew 6:33

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him ~Philippians 2:13

Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent; with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent ~Proverbs 17:28

The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time ~Psalms 34:19

"Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain" ~Rev 21: 2-4

Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline ~Proverbs 1:7

I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches ~Psalm 119:14

"I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." ~Jesus (John 16:33)

Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble ~1 Peter 3:8

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom ~James 3:13

Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty ~John 6:35

So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law ~Galatians 5:1

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them ~1 John 4:16

Then Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" ~Matt 28:18-20

“Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets" ~Jesus (Matthew 7:12)

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you ~Isaiah 46:4

“Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” ~1 John 5:12

Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good ~Romans 12:21

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground ~Psalm 143:10

The earth is filled with your love, LORD; teach me your decrees ~Psalm 119:64

When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy ~Psalm 94:18-19

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises ~James 5:13

That is why the Lord says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning" ~Joel 2:12

For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places ~Ephesians 6:12

It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it ~Isaiah 55:11

Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble ~Psalm 119:165

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you ~Isaiah 26:3

Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth ~2 Timothy 2:15

But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ ~1 Corinthians 15:57

For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile ~Romans 1:16

That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day ~2 Corinthians 4:16

I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live ~Psalm 116:1-2

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? ~Romans 8:32

I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken ~Psalm 16:8

Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms ~Psalms 68:19

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there ~Galatians 5:24

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble ~Psalm 46:1

We love each other because he loved us first ~1 John 4:19

True humility and fear of the Lord lead to riches, honor, and long life ~Proverbs 22:4

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do ~Ephesians 2:10

Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God ~Psalm 90:2,4

Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children ~Ephesians 5:1

But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you ~Psalms 56:3

I create the light and make the darkness. I send good times and bad times. I, the LORD, am the one who does these things ~Isaiah 45:7

May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus ~Romans 15:5

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you ~Isaiah 43:2

““This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it—the LORD is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’” ~Jeremiah 33:2-3

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'” ~Matthew 4:4

I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands ~Psalm 119:60

“But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”” ~1 Samuel 16:7

You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word ~Psalm 119:114

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin ~1 John 1:7

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” ~Matthew 19:14

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us ~Hebrews 12:1

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus ~Philippians 3:14

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever ~Hebrews 13:8

Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? ~1 Corinthians 3:16

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority ~Colossians 2:9-10

Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy ~Psalms 100:2

So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ ~Romans 10:17

We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ ~2 Corinthians 10:5

For I have given rest to the weary and joy to the sorrowing ~Jeremiah 31:25

Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done ~Psalms 105:1

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand ~Isaiah 41:10

But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress ~Psalms 59:16

God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father ~Philip 2:9-11

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever ~Revelation 21:4

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life ~Psalms 139:23‭-‬24

This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other. If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad. All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it ~1 Cor 12:25‭-‬27

“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?" ~Jesus (Matthew 6:25)

Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you ~Jeremiah 32:17

In that day you will say: “Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.” ~Isaiah 12:4

The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name ~Zechariah 14:9

As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him ~Psalm 18:30

The godly walk with integrity; blessed are their children who follow them ~Proverbs 20:7

When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? ~Psalms 8:3‭-‬4

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance ~Psalm 33:12

so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him ~Hebrews 9:28

Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away ~Acts 3:19

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose ~Romans 8:28

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance ~2 Peter 3:9

The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him ~Proverbs 23:24

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one ~2 Thessalonians 3:3

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ ~Philippians 3:20

What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? ~Mark 8:36

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty ~Psalm 91:1

Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord ~Psalms 27:14

Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything ~Proverbs 13:3

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed ~Psalms 34:18

“Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him—his name is the LORD. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.” ~Psalm 68:4-5

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do ~Joshua 1:8

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words ~Romans 8:26

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” ~Psalm 46:10

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! ~Luke 11:13

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you ~Colossians 3:13

Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation ~Psalms 100:4‭-‬5

And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart ~Ezekiel 36:26

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger ~Proverbs 15:1

The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights ~Habakkuk 3:19

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing ~1 Thessalonians 5:11

The Lord will come down from heaven, with the voice of the archangel & with the trumpet call of God, & the dead in Christ will rise first. Then, we will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And we will be with the Lord forever ~1Thess 4:16-17

“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends" ~Jesus (Revelation 3:20)

And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father ~Colossians 3:17

In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? ~Psalm 56:4

Seek the Lord , all who are humble, and follow his commands. Seek to do what is right and to live humbly. Perhaps even yet the Lord will protect you— protect you from his anger on that day of destruction ~Zephaniah 2:3

Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" ~Acts 2:38

If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you ~Matthew 6:14

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry ~James 1:19

All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all ~Isaiah 53:6

He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign Lord will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people. The Lord has spoken! ~Isaiah 25:8

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them ~Hebrews 6:10

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! ~Romans 11:33

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective ~James 5:16

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you ~Ephesians 4:32

God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father ~Philip 2:9-11

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away ~Matthew 24:35

Pay your taxes, too... For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they do. Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority ~Romans 13:6-7

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus ~1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive ~1 Corinthians 15:20-22

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land ~2 Chronicles 7:14

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus ~Philippians 4:6-7

In your relationships, have the same mindset as Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness ~Philip 2:5-8

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer ~Romans 12:12

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him ~1 John 5:14-15

For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ ~2 Corinthians 5:21

For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! ~Romans 5:10

But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you ~Matthew 6:6

Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law ~Romans 13:10

As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him ~Psalm 18:30

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good ~Psalm 14:1

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen ~Ephesians 3:20-21

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law ~Romans 13:8

If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love ~John 15:10

Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you ~Ephesians 4:31‭-‬32

The one thing I ask of the Lord — the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord ’s perfections and meditating in his Temple ~Psalms 27:4

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters ~1 John 3:16

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me" ~John 14:6

Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you ~James 1:21

We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ ~2 Corinthians 10:5

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law ~Galatians 5:22-23

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good ~1 Peter 2:2-3

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus ~Philippians 1:6

Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! ~Psalms 34:8

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us ~1 John 4:11-12

Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They'll be like a tree planted by water with roots by the stream. It doesn't fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit ~Jer 17:7-8

When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer ~Psalm 94:19

Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments ~Deuteronomy 7:9

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority ~Colossians 2:9-10

So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace ~Romans 8:6

The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake ~Psalm 23:1-3

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience ~Colossians 3:12

Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever ~Psalm 23:6

Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins ~1 Peter 4:8

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God ~2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Do not those who plot evil go astray? But those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness ~Proverbs 14:22

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect ~1 Peter 3:15

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go ~Joshua 1:9

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting ~Psalm 139:23-24

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see ~Hebrews 11:1

"But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”” ~Matthew 16:15-16

If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it ~Mark 8:35

As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend ~Proverbs 27:17

"Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever” ~Psalm 73:25-26

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline ~2 Timothy 1:7

“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” ~Mark 9:23

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him ~1 John 4:9

Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? ~1 Corinthians 3:16

Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other ~Romans 12:10

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love ~1 John 4:18

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand ~Isaiah 41:10

Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice ~Psalm 112:5

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins ~1 John 4:10

I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches ~Psalm 119:14

Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you ~James 1:27

Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it ~Proverbs 22:6

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres ~1 Corinthians 13: 6-7

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another ~John 13:34-35

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs ~1 Corinthians 13:4-5

The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him ~Nahum 1:7

I love you, LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold ~Psalm 18:1-2
