The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance ~2 Peter 3:9

The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him ~Proverbs 23:24

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one ~2 Thessalonians 3:3

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ ~Philippians 3:20

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed ~Psalms 34:18

“Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him—his name is the LORD. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.” ~Psalm 68:4-5

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do ~Joshua 1:8

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words ~Romans 8:26

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” ~Psalm 46:10

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! ~Luke 11:13

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you ~Colossians 3:13

Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation ~Psalms 100:4‭-‬5

And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart ~Ezekiel 36:26

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger ~Proverbs 15:1

The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights ~Habakkuk 3:19

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing ~1 Thessalonians 5:11

The Lord will come down from heaven, with the voice of the archangel & with the trumpet call of God, & the dead in Christ will rise first. Then, we will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And we will be with the Lord forever ~1Thess 4:16-17

“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends" ~Jesus (Revelation 3:20)

And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father ~Colossians 3:17

In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? ~Psalm 56:4
