The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time ~Psalms 34:19

speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ ~Ephesians 5:19-20

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work ~2 Timothy 3:16-17

Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring ~Proverbs 27:1

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD ~Psalm 27:14

He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name ~Psalms 23:3

Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other ~1 John 4:11

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever ~Psalms 107:1

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results ~James 5:16

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will ~Romans 12:2

The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare ~Psalm 25:14-15

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ~Jeremiah 29:11

You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected ~Luke 12:40

It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him ~Deuteronomy 13:4

Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise. Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails ~Proverbs 19:20-21

Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning ~2 John 1:6

In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father ~Matthew 5:16

Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts ~Colossians 3:16

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise ~Philippians 4:8

The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit ~1 Corinthians 2:14

If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you ~Matthew 6:14

Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ ~Galatians 6:2

“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock." ~Jesus (Matthew 7:24)

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved ~Romans 10:9
